Powertrains and Performance
Steady as she goes, Matrix XRS and S AWD come with an independent double-wishbone rear suspension that allows each rear wheel to act and react to forces independently. The result? Both rear wheels are kept in maximum contact with the road surface, enhancing cornering grip when driving over rough or uneven road surfaces.

situations, enhanced VSC automatically regulates engine output and
brake-force distribution to the wheels. In addition, the system
simultaneously provides the Electric Power Steering (EPS) assist torque
to help the driver steer in the direction that provides greatest
control. An off switch, designed to eliminate VSC, is useful in
certain critical conditions.
