2016 Toyota Corolla Overiew and What's New

Toyota of Keene is pleased to offer the new 2016 Toyota Corolla at our dealership located minutes from downtown Keene, NH.

Since the Corolla's well-received modern redesign a couple years back, we only see a few updates, one being a limited production of S Special Edition Corollas (8,000 units to be exact) to honor the Toyota model's 50th anniversary. The Special Edition adds keyless entry, black gloss 17 inch alloy wheels, black leather seating with contrasting red stitching, and red accents on the instrument panel. We also see that Toyota added an extra 3 inches of legroom for backseat passengers (Woohoo!). Yet we still get to enjoy the same affordable price and great fuel efficiency as in years prior, keeping the Corolla's MSRP starting between $18-24,000 depending on what trim and added features you choose.

Oh, and you know how Toyota stated that 80% of Corollas sold in the last ten years are still on the road today? Well, that number is now up to 90% [3].

Here, we break down what features to look forward to in the 2016 model, along with what the critics say to help you make a more informed decision before setting foot in a dealership.

As always, feel free to stop into our showroom and ask questions or give us call. Or chat online with one of our Internet Customer Service Advocates located onsite and who's job is to help streamline your car-shopping and buying process.

Or, take the old fashioned route and simply take a new Corolla for a test drive,  and you might just discover that the latest Corolla is what you've been looking for in a fuel efficient, not-so-compact sport sedan after all.
 Sporty Exterior

LED Lights

Both energy-efficient and eye-catching, LED headlights are standard on every model.

Assertive Grille

A piano-black grille with chrome trim really completes the composed sporty look Toyota was able to achieve.

No sport sedan is complete without a little rear spoiler to tease followers.

17" Alloy Wheels

Available on select trims, the spokes on Toyota's 17 inch alloy wheels were practically designed to catch stares while you wait at the traffic light.

A very clean and symmetrical dashboard design makes navigating buttons easy whether you're a new or hard-core corolla owner.

Worried about keeping your new sporty Corolla seats coffee-stain free? Not only do Toyota's unique leather-like Softex seats provide that premium look, feel and support you deserve, but Toyota's Softex seats are also water and stain-resistant. So you can have your coffee and sip it too! **Available in LE Premium, ECO Premium, and S Premium trims.
  Paddle Shifters

Driver enthusiasts everywhere rejoice as they are able to satisfy their sport-car cravings thanks to optional paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.

 60/40 rear split seats
Available 6-Speed Manual transmission option when you upgrade to the S Plus.

Whether you're heading to work or returning home from a day trek up Mt. Monadnock, the 2016 Corolla is sure to keep the fun times rolling. With a 6.1" touchscreen and easy-to-navigate touch controls that mirror last years model, Corolla owners can once again enjoy Entune Audio and Apps Suite* (Slacker Radio, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable, Pandora, Yelp, Facebook Places), voice recognition, Hands-free Bluetooth, Phonebook, and more!
**Entune Suite available in LE, LE ECO and S trims.

Brake Assist, Stability and Traction controls,  and Anti-lock disc brakes are standard features in all the 2016 Corolla trims, which together some would argue work just as effectively as an all-wheel-drive sedan without the added price tag.

As seen in the 2015 model year, the rearview camera is also standard in all but the L trim for the 2016 Corolla.
